Project Manager

Seeking a strategic leader to own the full delivery of major renewable energy projects from Dubbo base? We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to drive safe, profitable outcomes across solar, BESS, and HV infrastructure works.

About the role

This is a high-accountability leadership position where you'll own project P&L performance, safety leadership, and stakeholder delivery across multidisciplinary teams.

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you'll deliver complex renewable projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Full ownership of project commercial performance (P&L, budgets, forecasting, variations)
• Developing and managing detailed project programs and lookahead planning
• Leading safety culture, compliance, and zero-harm outcomes across sites
• Coordinating civil, electrical, and commissioning teams for seamless delivery
• Managing Supervisors, Engineers, and subcontractors with clear accountability
• Acting as primary client/stakeholder interface and driving strong relationships
• Delivering accurate cost, program, risk reporting, and systems compliance
• Oversee inspections, testing and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with specifications, ITPS and standards.

What you'll bring

Essential:

• Electrical/Engineering qualification (preferred) + Trade qualification
• Proven track record delivering renewable/infrastructure projects (solar, BESS, HV/LV)
• Strong commercial acumen and P&L management experience
• Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary project teams
• Excellent client/stakeholder communication and relationship management
• Advanced WHS leadership and compliance knowledge
• Proficiency with project systems, programming, and cost control

Desirable:

• Management/business qualifications
• 7-12+ years relevant experience
• Contract management experience (GC21/AS4000)
• Advanced planning and commercial negotiation skills
• Training in OH&S disciples and understanding of relevant Standards and Codes of Practice.
